PROBLEM:
Haag Engineering provides failure and damage analysis to law firms, insurance companies and other businesses. Their education department created a certification program to help establish a common industry dialog regarding roof damage assessment. This breakthrough program required branding and promotional support to gain credibility. MarketGarden was hired to develop a marketing plan and message to launch the Haag Certified Roof Inspector program.

SOLUTION:
Provided online marketing research, MarketGarden consulted with Haag to brand and promote the first Haag Certified Roof Inspector class. The integrated marketing campaign incorporated teaser ads and mailers leading to a web page where visitors could register for the class. Public relations expanded the media coverage, positioning Haag certification as “The Reason You Get Called.”

RESULTS:
The first class was a sellout, enrolling 60 students at an average of $525 each.; 40 students signed to the waiting list, indicating widespread demand. In response, Haag scheduled a second class, raising the price $100 per seat and expanding capacity to 65.
